Romina Cini Custo is currently a Resident Specialist in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department at Mater Dei Hospital. She graduated from the University of Malta in 2001, and furthered her studies in the UK. During this period she was awarded the Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and read for a Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health. She later had a clinical attachment at Leuven University Hospital, Belgium. On her return to Malta, she was appointed Visiting Lecturer with the University of Malta. She has a special interest in gynaecological surgery, and recently read for a Masters of Science in Laparoscopic Surgery at the University of Malta in collaboration with the Italian Society of Surgeons. She is married to Charles and they have 2 children.
